Merry Christmas!

Here we finally are in the week before Christmas! The days certainly pass more quickly than when we were children, but we still look forward to this holiday every year for so many reasons.

We know many of you will be travelling great distances to be with friends and family this week- be safe! Many others will be nestled in for a quiet holiday at home- be cozy!

Our last message to you before Christmas day is one of good wishes:

May your last-minute knitting never tangle, and may you not run out of yarn TWO INCHES from the end of the gift you NEED to finish. (Seriously, yarn? Every time?)

May airport security look with mercy upon the needles in your carry-on, because if it comes down to missing your flight or giving up your interchangeable set you know you’ll be grounded.

May you darn no stockings.

May the recipients of your handknitted gifts actually follow the laundering instructions and handwash those merino mittens.

May your loved ones remember that yarn is ALWAYS a good gift, and there IS room more.

May you know peace, have hope, express joy, and feel love.

And may you celebrate in your heart the reason for this most special of all seasons.

From The Yarn Patch to all of you: Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!

Sheri, Emily, Susan, and Anita
