Happy New Year!

Happy New Year from The Yarn Patch!

We hope you all had as much fun in 2015 as we did. We enjoyed yarn clubs, mystery KAL’s, and knitting nights. We survived the worst ice storm we’ve seen in years. We hosted our biggest event yet and with your help we made a difference for a great local cause. And we were amazed to watch so many of you take your knitting and crochet to the next level- we’re so proud to watch this community grow and so grateful to be a part of it! Thank you from all of us for another wonderful year.

Of course, it’s also time to look forward to 2016- and we have so much to be excited about! This week everyone’s talking about their New Year’s Resolutions, and we knitters and crocheters are no different. So we thought we’d share a few of our fiber-related resolutions with you!

Sheri wants to take more notes on her knitting, especially marking her place on her pattern when she takes a break so she isn’t lost when she comes back to it later. (Psst, Sheri- grab some highlighter tape!)

Emily wants to follow through with more of her designs and write more patterns. So much to knit, so little time! She’s also determined to finish her Coogee Bay crochet dress in time to wear it this summer.

Susan says 2016 is “the year of the sweater”. She plans to knit well-fitted garments, and lots of them! She would like to learn to knit socks, too, so that she’ll always have a big project and a little one going at the same time.

What about you? Do you have any resolutions to make about your knitting or crochet this year? Maybe you want to learn something new, so be on the lookout for our class schedule- classes January through March will be announced soon! Or perhaps you’re wanting to become a more organized crafter. We’ll help you find the right project bag, needle case, or yarn bowl. Whatever your resolutions, we’re looking forward to helping you achieve them in 2016.

Thanks again for being a part of our flock in years past. Here’s to many more!

Happy New Year!

Sheri, Emily, Susan, Shawndrese, and Anita
